When you look at these gorgeous photos, it's hard to understand how Flagstaff lost to Port Angeles, Washington, in Outside magazine's recent "Best Town Ever" contest. (We are not saying the contest was rigged. No one here is saying that. That said, the contest might have been rigged.)
